Archos 70 : Easy to install Android Market

It was so easy to install Android Market which was not default APP. After start up just downloading ArchTools from AppLibs of Archos, then installing Android Market and/or Google APPs. This machine is light weight than expected, built in speaker is fine sound, but speaker and mic are too close, it couses houling duirng Skype talk. Operational memory is not enough, that point I regret, otherwise it is good enough.

Archos wins

Been using my one for about 6 months now. Battery live is still very good. The archos company have been very good with supporting this device. Its very stable and reliable. I brorrow my friends ipad for a week and within a couple of days i was bored with using it, mainly due with apple locking things down so much plus the weight of the ipad puts too much strain on the wrists. I would advise getting one of these or my only other alternative is wait for the tegra 3 cpu tablets to come out.

Archo 70 : Purchasing in Australia

Purchased 3 Archos 70 tablets through Expansys, for my business, two working well, one has had what we think is a software problem after 2 weeks use. Archos online support good to a point,and will reply and try and help solve the problem, Expansys return policy, (one week and still waiting for a reply!) No repair agents in Australia. Good product when working,but apart from basic support I think in Australia you are left a little bit high and dry if you get one that has anymore than a basic problem.
