Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, P6800 Features

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the first tablet that incorporates Samsung's Super AMOLED Plus display technology, delivering brilliant, high-contrast colors and a beautiful, crisp viewing experience. The Super AMOLED Plus display allows for a wider range of colors with greater separation between lights and darks, making images incredibly vivid.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features HSPA+ 21 Mbps network for faster uploads and downloads. It also supports Wi-Fi Channel Bonding, bonding two channels into one for improved network connection and data transfer at up to twice the speed.

The device is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core application processor for fast web-loading, seamless multitasking and superior multimedia performance.

Thanks to a 5,100 mAh battery providing up to 10 hours of video playback time[1], the Galaxy Tab 7.7 does not sacrifice battery life for its ultra-thin design.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is powered by Android™ 3.2 Honeycomb, Android 3.2 has been optimized for a 7-inch tablet with a new compatibility zoom mode. This optimizes applications that are not designed to run on larger screen sizes, so they fit on the entire screen without distortion.

Brilliant Tablet!!!

I had a choice on whether to get the nexus 7 or the galaxy tab 7.7. At first, I was going for the nexus 7, but due to it having no SD card, this was pretty much a deal breaker. So I decided to look for an alternative tablet at a similar size, which then I discovered this galaxy tab. I did my research and decided to purchase it. After using this tablet for a couple of days, my overall thoughts were mainly very positive. Firstly, it has a brilliant display, which makes watching movies and TV shows a pleasure, with its colourful super amoled plus display. Also, games look fantastic and going on the internet is also a pleasure. Secondly, the build quality on this tablet is defiantly premium! It has a metal back, plus it is very thin. Lastly, it has a SD card slot, which allows expandable memory, which makes it very convenient for storing a ton of movies, TV series, music, magazines, etc. However, the tablet having honeycomb 3.2 was a downside for me, as it was laggy at times, plus it is out of date. But I upgraded to ice cream sandwich, which overcame this problem. all in all, this tablet is fantastic. This site had it the cheapest price than anywhere else I found and its delivery service was very quick. If I was going to the recommend a smallish tablet to anyone, it would be this one!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 3G Wi-Fi 16GB

This is my first tablet or android device. I wanted something to use for general stuff whilst travelling without having to open up my company laptop to look at the internet at airports, to read from, to watch video/tv recording, pod casts, music etc on planes and in hotels. Also I wanted a "big" GPS. 10.1 seemed to big and tempted by 8.6 but all the reviews of this screen swayed me. I wanted a good screen for GPS. It is beautiful but still sometimes not easy to read in direct sunlight but maybe I am being very picky. Its fast, battery lasts all day but I have not using it hard. Only down side is the power cable being special to Samsung and it did put me off for a long time thinking I would have the Zoom2 ME with the separate power connection but you still need the juice that a usb on a PC will not give. I think it charges but very slowly and will not keep up is if it is turned on. May be PCs need a special charging port USB direcly connected for power to the Powersupply without going through the motherboard. At least the charger end has a usb so can charge other devices (mains and car accesories). I do not like the power connector being on the edge for holding it. It would be nice to have it flush in the backbut this is not a problem with just this device. Waiting for ICS. Comments on samsung accessories I bought about the same time. Desk docking station fine with power pass through. Does not work as support in landscape Car kit not as flexible for positioning as I would like. It is a ridged suchion cup with ball end. Not as flexible as an anoconda type but may be too heavy. And disapointed it is not a standard power pass through as the desk dock cable but a small two pole at the braket end. Car end is separate USB so you can use it withough the bracket but you need the "standard" dock power cable if you just want it on the seat next to you. I love the size. It is small enough to go in the inside pockets in my casual jackets that a 10.1 would not. Light enough to read for a reasonable time. It feels protected in a leather wallet though this needs to be removed for using the accessories. So 5 stars as there are no downsides that I believe are unique to the 7.7

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6810

This little tablet is fantastic! I am a big Asus netbook and tablet fan having bought the original net book by them and more recently the first transformer tablet. However I am rapidly losing interest in it as the Galaxy 7.7 makes everything so much easier and portable. It has a great build quality, great battery life, is easy to use, awesome as a e-book reader. Way to go Samsung!
